We prefer to focus on our concrete + metal work but will sometimes build from the ground up when the project is right. This one was.
We are dirty welders at heart. We are best known for our custom concrete, but sometimes, we have to let loose in our in-house welding shop. This album is full of mixed media creations, often utilizing found objects.

We like clay. We like fireworks. We love exploding clay with fireworks. The results are always impressive. The flowers are from our Urban Garden Wilderness Experiment out back.
4 Sided Fireplace
This was our first 4 sided outdoor fireplace. We'd never laid bricks before, but it turned out as good as any seasoned craftsmen could have done. The Corten chimney will weather to look totally badass.

Concrete and living plants.
We spent years crafting our proprietary concrete recipes, and strive to provide high-performance concrete countertops, tiles, precast architectural elements, monument signage, furniture, restaurant surfaces, and public installations to our hometown of Knoxville, TN. We are very proud to have the ability to produce our high-performance concrete using the materials that are just underneath our feet in the Appalachian Mountains. We have valuable resources and partners in the roadbuilding business and we regularly visit their quarries to hand select our bulk material, giving us the capability to produce the finest concrete possible. Schedule an appointment with us by calling or texting Justin directly at 865-414-8641.
These fellas speak for themselves.

Marbled Concrete Tile

Less than 5% of the ingredients used in our mud is sourced farther than 30 miles away from our shop in Downtown Knoxville. The special order high tech ingredients that we add to our mix are produced by aliens and are from intergalactic origins.

We created the Megalith Table for the Knoxville Museum of Art's ArtScapes program. It is made from steel, concrete, plants, fish + stones. It is beautiful and far out!
Super Black Hearth
Less is more.
Our client brought us one brick each. We created a mold and delivered 3 tons of these babies! Look for them on the exterior of the JC Penney Building on Gay Street, in Downtown Knoxville. Look up at the arches! Paulk+Co did that.
This is what 3 tons of historically accurate reproduced bricks look like. They are going on the JC Penney building in Downtown Knoxville, on Gay Street. Look up!
Stone Remnant Graveyard
We LOVE moving this stuff out the door! What a great way to get a lot of bang for your buck. Prices begin at about $50 psf out the door on these babies. Fabrication and installation will be quoted per project. Let's redo your vanity top or occassional table!
